The Agency is a government-owned firm that is primarily engaged in the management of strategic planning, employment and entrepreneurship policies in Terrassa, a city in the east central region of Catalonia, Spain, in the comarca of Valles Occidental, of which it is the co-capital along with Sabadell, the historic capital. The Agency also develops functions like planning for Economic development and Social justice, urban poverty alleviation programs and promotion of cultural, educational and aesthetic aspects. The Agency was incorporated in December 1989.
